The prayer wall
FaithGuide's prayer wall is a quiet place to ask for prayer and to pray for others. You share what is on your heart, and other members pray for you one person at a time. Requests show your first name only, and you can see how many people have prayed for you.
How it works
Ask for prayer
Write a few words about what you would like prayer for. Many people start with family, healing, strength, a decision, or someone they love. Your request appears with your first name only.
Pray for someone
Tap "Pray for this" and you are shown one request at a time, so each person gets your full attention rather than a scroll. When you have prayed, tap Amen and they will know someone did.
See who prayed for you
Your request shows how many members have prayed for it. When it is answered, you can take it down.
Kept gentle and safe
- Any request can be reported. It disappears for you straight away, and enough reports remove it for everyone.
- Every report is reviewed.
- Members must be 16 or over.
- Requests are shared with members inside the app, not published to search engines.
Questions people ask
What is a prayer wall?
A prayer wall is a shared place where people post what they would like prayer for, and others pray for them. FaithGuide's prayer wall is inside the app, so it stays a quiet community rather than a public noticeboard.
Will people see my full name?
No. Requests show your first name only. Your request is shared with other FaithGuide members, not published on the open web.
Will I know if someone prayed for me?
Yes. When a member reads your request and taps Amen, your count goes up, so you can see how many people have prayed for you.
How is the prayer wall kept safe?
Any request can be reported. A report hides it from the person who reported it straight away, enough reports remove it for everyone, and every report is reviewed. Members must be 16 or over.
Can I take my request down?
Yes. When a prayer is answered, or you simply want it down, you can remove your request at any time.
